Everything You Need to Know Before Visiting Flora's Bridal
Yes! We highly recommend making a reservation.
A reservation guarantees you'll have your own dedicated bridal stylist, a fitting room reserved just for you, and plenty of time to explore gowns that fit your vision, style, timeline, and budget.
Your stylist will pull gowns specifically for you, help you into each dress, answer your questions, and guide you through one of the most exciting shopping experiences of your life.
If you're unable to make your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible. Because we reserve a stylist and dressing room specifically for you, last-minute cancellations and no-shows have a real impact on our small business.
Not ready for a reservation? No problem! We also offer Walk-In Wednesdays from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, where no reservation is required.
Walk-In Wednesday is exactly what it sounds like—no reservation required!
Every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, brides are welcome to stop in and try on wedding gowns without scheduling ahead.
Walk-In Wednesdays are perfect if:
- You're just beginning your search.
- You're curious about different silhouettes.
- You're shopping on short notice.
- You simply want to see what Flora's Bridal is all about.
During Walk-In Wednesdays you'll typically be able to try on up to four gowns (and often more if the boutique isn't busy).
Because walk-ins are first-come, first-served, we can't guarantee a private fitting room or your own dedicated stylist. If you'd like a more personalized, one-on-one bridal experience, we recommend scheduling a reservation.
A reservation offers a much more personalized experience.
When you reserve your bridal experience, you'll receive:

Most brides find that a reservation allows them to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
Our bridal reservations typically last about 90 minutes.
This gives you plenty of time to:

We never want you to feel rushed, but we also want to respect the reservations of the brides who are visiting after you.
Your bridal reservation is designed to be fun, relaxed, and memorable.
When you arrive, your stylist will ask about:
- Your wedding date
- Your venue
- Your budget
- Your personal style
- Dresses you've already tried
- Your likes and dislikes
From there, she'll begin selecting gowns she believes you'll love.
Don't be surprised if your favorite dress is something you never expected to try! One of the best parts of shopping at Flora's Bridal is discovering styles you may never have picked off the rack yourself.
Throughout your reservation, your stylist will help you into each gown, answer your questions, explain ordering timelines, and help you narrow down your favorites.

Your stylist isn't there to pressure you into buying a dress—she's there to help you discover the gown that makes you feel beautiful, confident, and completely yourself.
Whether you say "yes" during your first visit or decide to sleep on it, we're here to support you every step of the way.

For most brides, that's about 2 to 4 trusted family members or close friends.

If you'd like to bring a larger group, simply let us know when making your reservation.
Depending on availability, we may recommend one of our VIP Bridal Experiences or reserve a time when we can comfortably accommodate everyone.
We want your guests to enjoy the experience just as much as you do!
Yes!
For brides looking for an even more intimate experience, we offer VIP Bridal Experiences with private spaces and options designed for celebrating with family and friends.
Our VIP experiences are perfect for larger groups, out-of-town guests, or anyone looking to make dress shopping even more memorable.
While we absolutely love little ones, we recommend leaving young children with a sitter whenever possible.
Our boutique is filled with delicate fabrics, long trains, mirrors, pins, scissors, and beautiful gowns that can be easily damaged—or become safety hazards for curious little explorers.
Having childcare arranged also allows you to relax, focus, and truly enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The best outfit is a comfortable one!
We recommend:
- Nude underwear if possible
- Minimal makeup
- No body bronzer or self-tanner
- Comfortable clothing that's easy to change out of
Please avoid heavy foundation, dark lipstick, glitter body products, and spray tans that could transfer onto our sample gowns.
And yes...please wear underwear! Our stylists will be helping you into the dresses.
Whatever makes you comfortable!
Most wedding gowns include built-in structure and support, so the bra you wear usually isn't important.
If you're considering a backless or strapless gown, your stylist can help explain your options.
Not for your first reservation.
Many brides haven't purchased their wedding shoes yet, and that's perfectly okay.
Shoes become much more important once you've found your gown and begin alterations.
Of course!
We encourage you to take photos and videos of your favorite gowns so you can remember what you loved after your reservation.
Just remember to stay present, too. Sometimes the most magical moments happen when you're simply enjoying the experience rather than looking through a phone screen.

We'll do our best to accommodate you, but depending on how late you arrive, we may need to shorten your reservation or reschedule so we don't impact the brides scheduled after you.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, we simply ask that you let us know as soon as possible.
Giving us advance notice allows another bride the opportunity to reserve that time.
